G2 Esports is not the only squad on the move in Europe, according to our sources the Ninjas in Pyjamas are putting two players on the bench, extending two others and signing the Russian Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev.
After a first project that did not have the expected success, the Ninjas in Pyjamas had decided to mostly turn to former CS players with Niels "luckeRR" Jasiek and Emir "rhyme" Muminovic. The duo was joined by the French HypHypHyp trio CREA, Fearoth & HyP.

Unfortunately, this version of the team didn't work as hoped either, as the team was most of the time in the top 4 behind G2, Liquid, FPX and even bonk. After only two months with this lineup, two changes had already taken place with the departure of Enzo "Fearoth" Mestari and Damien "HyP" Souville, replaced by Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel and Egor "chiwawa" Stepanyuk.

The First Strike tournament was the very first real test for the new roster and it is clear that things are not getting any better for NiP with a defeat against G2 in the playoffs of the first qualifier, but above all a humiliating elimination against the Purple Cobras in the Play-In of the second qualifier.

According to our sources, new changes are to come with the benching of the German player who has been present since the beginning of this new project, Niels "luckeRR" Jasiek and the Swede Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel.

To replace them, the former Russian player from HSDIRR, Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev has already signed his contract with the Swedish organization. The last place is still open and players are tested to find the perfect combination. Emir "rhyme" Muminovic and Charles "CREA" Beauvois have been confirmed by the management by signing new contracts.

More information about the last player should come soon. At the moment, NiP is :

no Emir "rhyme" Muminovic
fr Charles "CREA" Beauvois
ru Egor "chiwawa" Stepanyuk
ru Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev
