France's top team, Falcons were well on their way to qualifying for the BLAST Paris Major. After failing in the decisive match against eventual winners Outsiders for the IEM Rio RMR, they had this time a better margin, coming in 2-1 up in the Paris RMR. Unfortunately, the following steps remained the same, with disappointing losses to future finalists GamerLegion, OG in the qualifying match, and then BIG in the last-chance qualifier.
This failure put an end to the 100% French project, as explained before the tournament: it was a last chance for the French roster. Jordan "Python" Munck-Foehrle was dropped, while Kenny "kennyS" Schrub became content creator for the organization.
Since then, plans have been in place to strengthen the squad by moving internationally. The aim is to move the organization to the next level, as it seeks to establish itself firmly in the competitive Counter-Strike landscape.
According to our sources in collaboration with HLTV, Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea from Sprout (as revealed by blix) and Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak from Endpoint have already been signed. The Romanian and the Pole have rather young and promising profiles, which shows an ambitious but cautious and reasonable face, as the organization doesn't go out with disproportionate buyouts for stars of the scene.
At least, this was the case before Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier's place was also questioned. Still according to our sources in collaboration with HLTV, this time it's Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas, Monte's star and revelation, who is rumored to be on the Falcons' radar, so they could make a big move by recruiting a rising star of the scene.
The Jordanian is said to have been offered a number of different deals, including Evil Geniuses. The player is from the same region as the organization, which is a significant plus for the Saudi organization. Should BOROS' transfer be confirmed, Falcons would look like :
