According to our sources, Akimbo led by Bryan "Maka" Canda, Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss and Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van will join Falcons Esports.
Over a month ago, we told you that LDLC OL would be continuing with its former players Bryan "Maka" Canda, Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss and Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus. Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van and Jordan "Python" Munck-Foehrle were the two players that completed the project. This team was chosen instead of the DBL PONEY, who were also in the running to join the French organization.

While the deal was well underway and almost finalized, our sources explained that disagreements arose regarding the length of the contracts and the salary of one player, pushing the organization to cut off the talks. In the end, it was the GenOne team that was signed by the Lyon based club.

The failure of the negotiations did not however demotivate the team, which decided to stay together under the name Akimbo, accompanied by Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni in the coaching role. This team had a very good start, winning both their games in French Championship, but also in ESL Challenger League 40 against HEET and CPH Flames, showing great promise for the future.

While DBL Poney needed almost a year to find an organization, it only took Maka's players about ten days to find their new home. Vitality announced yesterday that Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van had left the team, meaning that someone had bought him out.

According to our sources, it is Falcons Esport, an organization from the Middle East that is about to sign the French roster. Active on many games such as Rocket League, Dota, FIFA, COD, Fortnite, Overwatch or PUBG, Falcons could thus reach a new level by recruiting a team with a potential to join the top 30 in one of the two most important Esport games.

Falcons Esports will be :

fr Bryan "Maka" Canda
fr Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss
be Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus
fr Jordan "Python" Munck-Foehrle
fr Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van

fr Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni (Coach)
