According to our sources, Evil Geniuses is interested in Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså to complete its roster for 2022.
Last week, Evil Geniuses made it official that Damian "maLeK" Marcel will take over as coach of its CS:GO team. In order to kick-start a new project, the American organization decided to drop Damian "daps" Steele and put the former G2 Esports man in charge of the roster for 2022.
Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov and Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte are the only two survivors from last year, with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, Owen "oBo" Schlatter and Michał "MICHU" Müller all being let go in November.
As we reported last week, EG is interested in two Major winners, Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Timothy "autimatic" Ta. It seems that the negotiations are going well and the American duo should soon be wearing the same jersey.
Only one member is missing to complete the squad and according to our sources, Evil Geniuses has targeted this player. OG rifler, Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså is preferred by the American organization. The two orgs are currently negotiating for the Danes' transfer.
The former North player is believed to have one year left on his contract, as is Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen who is still in talks to join G2. In both cases, OG will not let its players go so easily and is heavily negotiating. Evil Geniuses has already identified some backups should the negotiations fail.
