OG to join CS with NBK, Aleksib, valde, ISSAA and Jamppi!

The Counter-Strike scene has been in turmoil since the end of Major. fnatic, G2 Esports, Vitality, Na'Vi, FaZe, NiP, MIBR, ENCE, FURIA and others have fought a real battle in the transfer market.

In addition to the usual organizations, other names are trying by all means to land on CS:GO. Evil Geniuses has come back by acquiring NRG, compLexity has opened the chequebook and organisations such as 100Thieves or Dignitas have already announced their intention to join Global Offensive. Other organizations like Misfits, TSM, Rogue, Splyce and others that are scanning the market and exploring the different possibilities to join Valve’s flagship FPS.

The reason? The ESL and BLAST circuits in 2020, which offer security to organizations and a way to secure the heavy investments associated with CS:GO. Timing is also ideal with a large number of players available, whether they are substitutes in big teams, listed as transferable or available for free.

Our sources inform us that OG Esports has also entered the race and will soon arrive on CS:GO. The structure would have secured the project led by Nathan "NBK" Schmitt and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, both of whom were benched from Vitality and ENCE. It appears that these two would have favoured the double reigning champions of The International on Dota 2 compared to 100Thieves.

To complete the team, the duo plans to bring in the Danish North Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså who would be keen on a change of scenery. Jordanian Issa "ISSAA" Murad, who was put on the bench at HellRaisers in early September, would also join, as would the young Finnish sniper Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen.

OG Esports is a European organisation that has just scored a double in the world's largest sports competition: The International. A first in the history of Dota 2. With these victories, the organization's players have won nearly $27 million.

The organization wishes to reproduce the same scheme on Counter-Strike, adding the methodologies applied by Sébastien "Ceb" Debs and his teammates on Dota 2. According to our information, the organization has already secured a place on the BLAST and ESL Pro Tour for next season.
