Golden & flusha to comeback in fnatic?

After a fourth place in the European Minor and therefore a non-qualification for the Starladder Major Berlin, fnatic was forced to react and take strong decisions for its future. That's why Richard "Xizt" Landström and Simon "twist" Eliasson were removed from the team, without much surprise. The team's environment has also been modified with the exclusion of coach Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson and the arrival of Andreas "Samuelsson" Samuelsson, former coach of the Academy team and manager of the first team.

If in a recent AMA on reddit, Jesper "JW" Wecksell and coach Samuelsson had announced the arrival of a young player, it would seem that their idea to recruit Tim "nawwk" Jonasson fell through when GamerLegion refused to sell him. According to our sources, fnatic has therefore decided to turn to two former members of the team. It would appear that the Swedish team has been playing for a few days with Robin "flusha" Rönnquist and Maikil "Golden" Selim.

The first is a historical player of the organization who played 5 years with the fnatic jersey, except for 6 months with GODSENT. After a stint at Cloud9, he would be ready to reunite with his long-time teammates, Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson.

For Golden, the story is a little similar with a stint at the Fnatic Academy and then a chance in the first team for a little less than a year between 2017 and 2018. He then bounced back to Cloud9, playing a few months with flusha. If Golden is not a young player for his age, his experience at the highest level remains young with only 2 years at the highest level.

It seems that the team that won the IEM Katowice 2018 and WESG 2017 is about to reform with the only difference being the presence of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin instead of Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson. More information in the coming days.
